Grade 7 and 8 students are invited to explore local Black History as Parks Canada and various community partners, such as Griffin House National Historic Site, Stoney Creek Track and Field, Stewart Memorial Church, and Oakville Museum, present interactive workshops and learning experiences. $1.90/student
 
Leslie McCurdy’s Spirit of Harriet Tubman

McCurdy’s powerful performance depicts the life story of Harriet Tubman - from her early years as a slave, through her work on the Underground Railroad, to her continued devotion to others in her later years. This performance will captivate and mesmerize.
